Rainforest Rescue
Rainforest Rescue is a not for profit organisation committed to saving our rainforests for current and future generations by creating opportunities for individuals, families, organisations and businesses to support successful projects that protect and restore our dwindling rainforests.
Projects involve rainforest restoration, research aimed at improving rainforest restoration and conservation, the property purchase and protection.
BioWare is supporting Rainforest Rescue's commitment to saving Queensland’s Daintree rainforest through their Daintree Buy Back and Protect Forever Project.
By assisting Rainforest Rescue to buy back freehold rainforest, BioWare is ensuring that over 25,000 square metres of rainforest is safe from development and protected for future generations to visit and enjoy.
In addition to saving the beautiful Daintree rainforest and its magnificent biodiversity the Daintree Buy Back and Protect Forever Project also conserves the carbon existing in the trees thereby addressing Climate Change.
By preserving the Daintree, BioWare is also reducing Carbon Dioxide emissions by a staggering 241.25 tonnes.
